So one week in I thought I’d make my first blog post. AND what a week!!!
I love this place, everyone seems to have such a great way of life, it all worked out great with my host Alyshia, I have been staying with her for this last week and it's just been a great base to get acquainted with the city.
So briefly here of some of the things i've done this week:

Exploring the city, having fun and looking into jobs
With more restaurants per-capita than New York City, Dallas is truly a food- lover's town, here is some of the amazing food I ate this week, with links to their websites where possible.

Pig Racing - Now I really have seen everything (On a positive note our pig 'Jean Claude Van Ham' Won!!)
And for the serious stuff –I have a couple job interviews lined up for next week, found an ideal place to stay with a guy called Brix, i’m just finalising the details and I hope to buy a car by the end of the week – hopefully either a Ford Mustang, a Cadillac Deville or an ex Police Car!!
